FIT09 – Leading through Creativity and Innovation
A new training offer has been published in SALTO's European Training Calendar.
FIT is an inspiring and daring training course aimed at transforming experienced facilitators, trainers and leaders into outstanding ones by building solid confidence based on self-awareness, relevant knowledge, practical skills and power attitudes.

Innovating Minds
The second year of the contest for the European high-school students “Innovating Minds – Czech Awards for Young Europeans”.
High school students from all over Europe can apply with their works on before 15th October 2009.
This year the competition has the following four categories:
- Information and communication technologies, Vítkovice a.s. award
- Health and the quality of life
- Environment, Veolia Voda a.s. Endowment fund award
- Products and technology innovations, Aero Vodochody a.s. award
The best work in each category will be awarded a financial prize amounting to EUR 5000. The ceremonial prize awarding will be held on 10th December 2009 in the Knight’s Hall of the Czech Parliament Senate where many important local as well as foreign guest and Czech Republic Parliament representatives will be present.

Konference om kreativitet og innovation i uddannelse og læring
I anledning af det Europæiske År for Kreativitet og Innovation er CIRIUS vært for en konfernce den 8. oktober 2009 på Hindsgavl i Middelfart. Temaet er kreativitet og innovation i uddannelserne.
Skal kreativitet på skoleskemaet? Hvilke kompetencer efterlyser erhvervslivet hos de unge? Hvordan kan erfaringer fra andre lande udnyttes gennem internationale projekter?

Narrating Europe! - Auto-biographical contest
The European Archive of Memories, for the development of social and civic competences of the European citizens, is a project within the Lifelong Learning Programme, Grundtvig Multilateral Project.
The European Memories project is pleased to invite all European citizens, of every age
and cultural origin, to participate in the second edition of the autobiographical contest
“Narrating Europe!”. Through this initiative we wish to bring to light the thousands of
experiences and faces that make up our Europe.
